Über meine Malkunst
In natürlichen Mustern und Formen finde ich Inspiration für meine abstrakte Malerei. Vor allem Versteinerungen, Mineralien, Gewässer und das natürliche Licht sowie Musik, regen mich zu vielen Ideen an. Es ist mir ein tiefes Bedürfnis, diese inneren Bilder in die Realität umzusetzen.
Nach der Vollendung können spontan Eindrücke entstehen, welche an konkrete Objekte, Orte oder Situationen erinnern. Die Titel meiner Bilder stammen aus diesen nachträglichen Assoziationen.
Die Strukturen und Farben meiner Gemälde sehe ich innerlich schon vor mir, lange bevor ich sie male. Meine Methode besteht darin, ein Gemälde in verschiedenen Schichten aufzubauen.
Als Farben kommen überwiegend Acryl, Ölfarben und Tinte zum Einsatz. Sehr häufig verwende ich auch Naturmaterialien und stelle dabei aus verschiedenen Erden meine eigenen Pigmente her. Ich bevorzuge Holz als Malgrund und arbeite überwiegend mit meinen Handflächen und Fingern. Der unmittelbare Kontakt zu meinen Bildern ist mir dabei sehr wichtig. Leichte Spachtel und Pinsel kommen gelegentlich auch zum Einsatz. Jedes Bild hat somit seine ganz eigene Geschichte und ist ein Unikat.

Über mich
• Geboren in Oberndorf am Neckar (1966). Aufgewachsen und Schulzeit in Ulm – Lehr.
• Diplom Sozialpädagogin [Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, Fachbereich Sozialwesen (FH)] mit Schwerpunkt „Soziale Organisation“ (1986-1992). Bis 2016, verschiedene führende Funktionen in der Sozialarbeit.
• Während und nach der Studienzeit: Künstlerische Entwicklung, Unterricht in abstrakter Malerei, Aktzeichnen.
• Regelmäßige künstlerische Tätigkeiten beim Projekt der Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Kunst und Kulturtherapie e.V. (GFFKT e.V.), München (1995-2002).
• Kunsttherapeutin [A.K.T München, Forum für analytische und klinische Kunsttherapie] (2008-2012).
• Seit 2016 Tätigkeit als freischaffende Künstlerin, ganz der abstrakten Malerei gewidmet.
• Seit Mai 2019, Künstlerin bei „AUKIO Ateliers“, Pähl.
• November 2023, Mitglied bei ArtistsInMotion.
About my art
My abstract paintings are mainly inspired by natural textures and forms. Various impressions from fossils, minerals, water bodies and natural light as well as music are for me rich sources of ideas. I feel a strong need to transcend these inner images into real paintings. Upon completion, my works often generate moods or spontaneous mental images that remind me of concrete objects, places or situations. The titles of my works often stem from these associations.
I have a clear mental picture of the desired colours and textures of a painting, well before I start working on it. My process involves building up the image through consecutive layers.
I mainly utilise acrylic and oil paints as well as various inks. I will also frequently prepare my own custom pigments using natural materials such as earth and soils.
Wood is my preferred support. Although I will occasionally use spatulas and brushes for details, I mainly paint using the palm of my hands and my fingers. I greatly enjoy this direct physical contact with my paintings. This also gives each painting a history of its own and makes it a unique object.

About me
• Born 1966 in Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany. Grew up in Ulm, Germany.
• Until 2016, leading positions in various social affairs organisations and departments.
• Graduated as Diplom Sozialpädagogin Fachbereich Sozialwesen (FH) from Otto-Friedrich-University in Bamberg with a focus on social management (1986-1992).
• Painting and acting during and after studies.
• Regularly painting at GFFKT e.V. (1995-2002).
• Trained art-therapist [A.K.T Munich] (2008-2012).
• Since 2016 completely focused on painting.
• May 2019, artist at „AUKIO Ateliers“, Pähl, Germany.
• November 2023, member of ArtistsInMotion.
